14" (35 cm). Pressed bisque swivel head on
kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled
bosom and shoulderblades, brown glass
enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, dark
painted lashes, brushstroked and
multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners,
shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined
lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over
cork pate, French kid body with slender shape,
Chevrot hinged legs, wooden lower legs,
bisque forearms with beautifully sculpted
fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
Bru Jne 3 (head and shoulderplate) (original
paper label on body). Comments: Bru, circa
1885. Value Points: very pretty petite Bru bebe
with brown eyes, pristine original body with
perfect hands, antique peach silk dress with
lace, undergarments, bonnet, socks and
original shoes signed "Bru Jne Paris".
