27" (68 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, mauve eyeshadow, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, early composition and wooden fully jointed body with attached ball-joints, straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 16 X. Comments: Kestner, circa 1890, the model is known as "A.T. Kestner" because of its resemblance to the French doll marked A.T. Value Points: large and very beautiful doll with distinctive sculpting, fine bisque, original body and body finish, antique costume.
