15" (38 cm). Pressed bisque socket head, brown
glass enamel inset eyes with paperweight effect,
painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows,
accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed
mouth, shaded and accented lips, pierced ears,
brunette human hair over cork pate, French
composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed
body with straight wrists, antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 (head)
Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments:
Emile Jumeau, circa 1878. Value Points: the early
model bebe has gorgeous pale bisque with delicate
rose blushing on cheeks and eye shadow, original
body and body finish.
