23" (58 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair in upswept fashion, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with adult female shape, tiny waist, bosom, elongated limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany 1159 Simon & Halbig dep 9 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: very beautiful example of the Edwardian fashion lady with choice bisque, original body and body finish, rarer body style, fine antique costume and undergarments.
