Description
7" doll. A cardboard box with decorative paper
cover and colorful engraving contains a bisque
head doll with blue glass eyes, painted lashes,
open mouth, teeth, brunette mohair wig, five
piece paper mache body with painted stockings and
shoes, original country costume, alongside twelve
compartments, each containing paper mache play
food arranged on plate, including roast chicken,
hams, eggs, fruit, tarts, and such. The
arrangement was presented in French Etrennes
catalogs from Paris department stores, circa
1900. Excellent, unplayed with condition.
