13" (33 cm). Bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, long painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented and outlined lips, impressed dimples at lip corners, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully- jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 4 (and artist checkmarks, on head) Jumeau Medaille díOr Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: very pretty wide-eyed bebe with luminous brown eyes complementing the creamy complexion, original body and body finish, wonderful antique silk satin dress with silk ball tassels, undergarments, silk bonnet, leather shoes.
