Description
Each 14" (35 cm). Each has amber tinted wax shoulderhead portraying adult woman, head posed in stylized manner, sculpted and painted hair on three, one with mohair wig in soft marcelled curls, painted facial features with side-glancing shadowed eyes, muslin body with paper mache limbs, costumed to represent film roles. Condition: generally excellent, bodies are identical but not original to the artist. Comments: Circa 1935, included are Norma Shearer, Clara Bow, Gloria Swanson, and Constance Bennett. Value Points: well executed and preserved portrait dolls with imaginative detailing.
