Description
5"L. case. A faux-ivory oval case hinges open to
silk and velvet lined interior, with fitted
impressions for four sewing tools, viz. scissors,
awl, needlecase, and thimble. Each of the tools
is richly finished with superb gold-plating.
French, circa 1880. Excellent condition, the case
is of the quality sold at luxury Paris shops such
as Maison Giroux.
