Description
22" (56 cm). Mahagony bookcase with fancy crest
having bronze lion's head, ornamental glass front
sides, wide windowed front door that exposes a
double row of faux-books; the books are actually
book-shaped open boxes, with leather-like casing
and gilt lettering, marbled edges. Each book is
lettered "Bibliotheque Enfantine" and "Depose".
French, circa 1890. Excellent condition.
