sleep eyes based on Jumeau patent of 1896, lushly
painted lashes and brows with feathered
highlights, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded
outlined lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced
ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French
composition and wooden body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau 9. Comments:
Emile Jumeau, circa 1896. Value Points: beautiful
bebe with rare counterweight eye mechanism is in
perfectly preserved original condition, having
original mohair wig and cork pate, Jumeau body
with original finish, rose silk satin dress with
exquisite lace collar, lavish matching bonnet,
rose silk parasol with wooden handle, beautifully
detailed original undergarments, net rose
stockings, and leather shoes.
