Description
10" (25 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted
lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and
eye corners, open mouth with two square cut upper
teeth, accented lips, blonde wig over plaster
pate, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with
highly detailed baby rolls and dimples, painted
white ribbed stockings with maroon ties, black
heeled shoes with blue tassels, antique lace
dress. Condition: excellent except chip at right
arm by stringing hole. Marks: 4. Comments:
Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: fine large
size of the early swivel neck all-bisque, well
defined sculpting.
