Description
19" (48 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass
sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, short feathered
brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with
defined space between the shaded downcast lips,
auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-
jointed body with side-hip jointing, sailor
costume. Condition: generally excellent, body
repainted. Marks: KAR Simon & Halbig 115/A 48.
Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, their
model marketed as "Phillip". Value Points:
excellent modeling and quality of bisque, toddler
body.
