Description
21" (53 cm). Bisque socket head, large blue
glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes,
painted curly lashes, dark eyeliner, incised
eyeliner, single stroke arched brows,
accented eye corners, closed mouth with
"watermelon slice" style smile, shaded and
outlined lips, brunette mohair wig, very chubby
composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler
body with side-hip jointing, antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 163-13.
Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1912.
Value Points: extremely rare large size of the
enchanting googly, this being only one of two
known existing models, with flawless bisque
and sculpting, original body and body finish.
