20" (51 cm). Solid domed bisque socket head, sculpted reddish-blonde hair in bobbed Campbell Kid fashion with combmarked detail, large blue glass side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, incised eyeliner, curly painted lashes, arched single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with wide "watermelon slice" style smile, shaded lips, very chubby composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 163-12. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, for Stroebel & Wilkin, circa 1912. Value Points: the large size 12 is extremely rare for this model, the doll's wonderfully sculpted chubby body in perfect harmony with the rounded face and eyes, enhanced by choicest quality bisque, sculpting and painting.
