16" (39 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass
sleep eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows
with glazed highlights, accented nostrils, closed
mouth with shaded and outlined lips, blonde
mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed
body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: KAR
Simon & Halbig 117/A 39. Comments: Kammer and
Reinhardt, circa 1912, the doll was marketed
as "Mein Susser Liebling" (my sweet darling).
Value Points: rarer petite size with exemplary
bisque, sculpting and painting, original wig,
body, body finish, antique costume.
