22 1/2" (57 cm). Bisque socket head, painted
facial features, dark blue eyes with shaded
detailing and delicate white eyedots, black and
incised upper eyeliner, one stroke tapered brows,
accented nostrils, closed mouth with richly
shaded lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and
wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: KAR 114 57. Comments: Kammer
and Reinhardt, pouty-faced "Gretchen" from their
art character series, circa 1910. Value Points:
outstanding quality of modeling, painting and
bisque on the large model, richly shaded lips and
eyes, original body finish, antique cutwork
