Description
22" (56 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass
sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes,
brushstroked and feathered brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and
outlined lips, two square cut upper teeth, blonde
mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition
and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body,
straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent,
tiny eye rim chip. Marks: 12 4. Comments:
Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: the "square
tooth model" doll has original body and body
finish, fine bisque, antique multi-layered
costume including green woolen dress with feather-
stitching, blouse, brown and white checkered
woolen coat, velvet bonnet.
