Description
8" (20 cm). One piece pink-tinted porcelain doll
as young baby in standing position with arms
extended in front and hands posed in small fists,
painted black hair with stippling around the
face, small blue upper glancing eyes, red and
black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, circle
accents at nostrils, closed mouth with hint of
impish smile, blushed cheeks, well-detailed body
features. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points:
early model of all-porcelain doll has most
appealing character expression.
