Description
16" (40 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes,
painted lashes, incised eyeliner, brushstroked
and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and
eye corners, closed mouth with center accent
line, pierced ears, kid gusset jointed body with
bisque forearms, nicely costume. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: S 8 H 949. Comments:
Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points:
rarity factors include closed mouth, swivel head,
long-faced modeling.
