16" (40 cm). Solid domed bisque socket head with pink-tinted bisque, sculpted hair with forelock detail, large sculpted ears, intaglio pale grey eyes with black and incised upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, rounded nose, closed mouth with accented bottom lip and shaded lips, impressed pout line around the mouth, original Sonneberg composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) 7759 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: superb modeling details, choice bisque and most appealing expression, original body, original factory costume of young schoolboy.
