Description
16" (40 cm). Bisque socket head with rounded
facial modeling, large round blue glass sleep
googly eyes glancing to the right and upward,
dark eyeliner, feathered brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with "watermelon slice"
style smile, accented lips, blonde mohair wig,
composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body
with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: KAR Simon & Halbig 131.
Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1915. Value
Points: wonderfully impish expression on the
large bisque googly with original body and body
finish, antique lace dress, cap, knit socks,
white leather shoes, choice bisque.
