15" (38 cm). Bisque socket head with rounded
facial modeling, large round blue glass sleep
googly eyes glancing to the right, dark eyeliner,
brushstroked and feathered brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with "watermelon slice"
style smile, accented lips, blonde mohair wig,
composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body
with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: KAR Simon & Halbig 131.
Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1915. Value
Points: very rare googly model with superb detail
of sculpting, impish expression, original toddler
body with original finish, antique romper
costume.
