Description
14" (35 cm). All-latex composition, the doll
portrays a slender young man with socket head,
painted sea-green eyes, real lashes, dark
eyeliner, painted lower lashes and fringed brows,
freckled nose, closed mouth modeled as though
open with row of teeth, reddish human hair, five
piece body jointed at shoulders and hips.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dewees
Cochran (ink signed, and raised symbol).
Comments: the doll closely resembles the portrait
doll of Charles Cochran, shown on p.93 of "As If
They Might Speak". Value Points: superb character
model with well-preserved condition, wonderful
painting, original costume of plaid shirt, short
brown wool pants, leather belt, leggings, brown
leather shoes.
