15" (38 cm). Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape that exactly matches the rounded blue glass googly eyes glancing to the left, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted short fringed upper lashes, angled brown brows with ochre highlights, accented nostrils of pug-shaped nose, closed mouth with impish smile in the shape of watermelon slice, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique cotton dress with lace trim, matching bonnet, undergarments, shoes, socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F made in Germany 10 JDK 221 Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912, the model was inspired by Rose OíNeillís Kewpie which Kestner also produced. Value Points: most endearing of the googly models with wonderful expression and beautifully modeled features.
