Description
17" (43 cm). Porcelain shoulderhead with deeply
sloping shoulders, rounded facial modeling, short
black sculpted hair with centerpart and short
curls, brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner and
lashes all around the eyes, red upper eyeliner,
single stoke brows, accented nostrils, closed
mouth with center accent line, muslin body,
porcelain lower arms and legs, silk gown.
Condition: generally excellent, some paint flakes
on hair. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value
Points: rare glass-eyed version of early china
doll.
