19" (48 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, very plump face, small painted blue eyes in deeply set sockets, thick black upper eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde human hair with coiled braids, cork pate, early muslin stitch-jointed body with bisque hands, antique silk gown and jacket, undergarments, stockings, boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E 5 B. Comments: French, circa 1860. Value Points: most pleasing dreamy like expression on face achieved by exquisite painting of eyes.
