16" (40 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass
paperweight inset eyes in small hand-cut eye
sockets, painted lashes, brushstroked brows,
accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth
with shaded and accented lips, pierced ears,
brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French
composition and wooden fully jointed body with
straight wrists, antique costume. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Depose Jumeau 7
(head, with artist checkmarks) Jumeau Medaille
d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa
1885, the model was made for one or two years
only. Value Points: pretty shy expression with
luminous brown eyes, fine creamy bisque, original
body and body finish, original socks and shoes
