16" (40 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed in plaid woolen skirt, woolen jacket with cut edging and featherstitch trim, undergarments, shoes, socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 43. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, their model marketed as "Mein Liebling", circa 1912. Value Points: especially choice example of the wistful faced child has deep modeling, fine lustrous patina of bisque, original body finish.
