Description
15" (38 cm). Sculpted head with deeply
defined long flowing hair and beard, enamel
upper glancing eyes, red upper eyeliner,
single stroke grey brows, strongly shaped
nose, closed mouth, cloth body over armature
frame, carved wooden hard with expressively
posed fingers. Condition: very excellent.
Comments: early 19th century, Neopolitan.
Value Points: the superbly modeled figure
wears original brown velvet robe and
matching turban with "diamond" crest,
embroidered silk shirt, leggings, kidskin
shoes.
