Description
3"-4" (7-10 cm). Of earthenware with gesso and
delicately painted finish, the figures depict a
school girl in sailor costume, boy with lunch tin
and fishing rod, boy with walking cane, girl with
parasol, and little boy in Tyrolean style
costume, each figure delicately painted to
enhance a character facial expression, with fine
detail of costume. Germany, mid-19th century.
Excellent condition.
