Description
28" (71 cm). Bisque socket head, large brown
glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner
encircles the eyecut, painted lashes, incised
eyeliner, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows,
accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed
mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced
ears, blonde human hair wig over cork pate,
French composition and wooden fully jointed body
with straight wrists, lovely silk costume and
bonnet, antique undergarments, leather shoes.
Condition: old faint hairline on forehead,
otherwise excellent. Marks: R. 4 D. Comments:
Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1885. Value Points:
beautifully painted features on the unusually
large example of this model.
