14" (35 cm). Pressed bisque socket head, blue/grey glass enamel eyes with rich spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, pierced ears, fleeced blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, original composition and wooden eight- loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, antique grey cashmere wool two piece dress with maroon embroidery, undergarments, maroon stockings, leather shoes incised "5", bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878. Value Points: wonderful presence on the petite bebe with especially fine quality of bisque for this model, beautiful eyes, original wig, body, body finish.
