Description
16" (40 cm). Bisque shoulderhead with plumply
modeled facial features, rich cobalt blue glass
enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, lightly
feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye
corners, closed mouth with hint of smile, accent
line between the lips, blonde mohair wig, kid
gusset jointed fashion body, stitched and
separated fingers. Condition: generally
excellent, body a bit worn. Marks: H (front
shoulderplate) 3 (back shoulderplate). Comments:
circa 1865. Value Points: wonderful expression
enhanced by beautiful early costume, canvas boots
with soft leather soles,rare bonnet a deux
bonjours.
