Description
4"l. (10 cm). A slender-face bisque head with
flat-cit neck socket and very rich dark brown
complexion has highly characterized features,
brown glass inset eyes, arched brows, flared
pointy-tip nose, open mouth with very wide
beaming smile, full lips, row of porcelain teeth.
Condition: generally excellent, small paint flake
on lip. Marks: N (script). Comments: circa 1890,
the head was produced for use with automatons
such as those by Vichy. Value Points: rare model
with superb charactization, fine lustrous patina.
