Description
5" doll. (13 cm). One piece bisque head, torso
and legs, loop-jointed arms, blonde painted
topknot, forelock and side curls, blue wings,
painted black side-glancing eyes, dash brows. And
all bisque black and white spotted Doodledog with
painted whiskers, blushing, blue wings.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kewpie
Germany (paper label on Kewpie). c (in circle, on
dog). Comments: designed by Rose O'Neill,
produced in Germany, circa 1915. Value Points:
rare Doodledog has excellent painting, Kewpie is
contained in original packing box with
illustrations on lid.
