Description
13" (33 cm). Composition head with uptilted face,
antic comic expression, painted googly eyes,
elongated nose, wide beaming smile on closed
mouth, flocked hair, muslin body with jointed
hips and shoulders, celluloid hands. Condition:
good, some forehead rubs, one shoe missing.
Comments: French, circa 1915, from a comic
character series. Value Points: the amusing and
rare-to-find doll wears his original French
schoolboy costume.
