Description
23" (58 cm). Solid domed bisque socket head with painted short brown boyish hair, detail of hair modeling at forehead, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body is appropriate but not original. Marks: Germany Simon & Halbig K*R 127n 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1918. Value Points: wonderful large size toddler with very expressive features, choice bisque, toddler body.
