Description
16" (40 cm). Bisque socket head with rounded
facial modeling, large round blue glass side-
glancing eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eye
sockets, dark painted curly lashes, slanted
feathered brows with ochre shading, pug nose with
accented nostrils, closed mouth with "watermelon
slice" smile, shaded lips, brunette mohair bobbed
wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden
ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing,
detailed body dimples. Condition: generally
excellent, eyes set. Marks: H Germany 12 JDK 221
Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value
Points: wonderful large size Googly with most
endearing expression, lovely bisque, original
body and body finish.
