11" overall (28 cm). A silk-petaled flower that
disguises a ball-shaped music box is
arranged on a stem handle. Popping from the
floral center is a bisque doll with modelled
Dutch bonnet, painted features with blue
intaglio eyes, smiling expression, tuft of
blonde hair, bisque arms. When twirled music
plays. Condition: generally excellent, music
plays sporadically. Marks: Heubach Germany
(square mark). Comments: Germany, circa
1915, head by Gebruder Heubach. Value
Points: delightful and rare party accessory,
perfect for display with dolls.
