Description
14" (35 cm). Porcelain shoulderhead with black
sculpted hair in centerpart looped over the ears
and drawn into coiled braids at the back of the
head, painted dark blue eyes, red and black
eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils,
closed mouth with center accent line, firmly
stuffed padded body form under velvet jacket and
remains of silk skirt, leather arms. Condition:
doll excellent, costume frail. Comments: the
padded skirt form has label "1839" in tiny tacks
on the front hem. Value Points: rare china head
model with intriguing historical costume.
