11" (28 cm). Amber tinted bisque socket head,
very narrow brown glass inset eyes with heavily
modeled lids, incised eyeliner, black painted
brows that slant to bridge of nose, painted
lashes, strongly shaped nose, closed mouth with
sculpted moustache, black mohair queue from top
of head, amber tinted five piece composition
body, antique silk costume comprising lavender
jacket, trousers. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Germany, circa 1890. Value Points:
early exotic portrait model with strongly defined
features including gaunt cheekbones, age lines on
forehead, excellent complexion details.
