22" (56 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes with dot highlights, brushstroked brows with feathered highlights, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig in upswept style, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with adult female shape, modelled bosom and tiny waist, elongated limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1159 Germany Simon & Halbig 8 S&H (head) Heinrich Handwerck Germany (body). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: very choice example of the Edwardian era fashion lady with original wig, body, body finish, and extensive original trousseau of the era comprising flannel coat with matching skirt, blouse, gloves, shoes, five additional dresses, coat, undergarments, and more.
