Description
19" (48 cm). Bisque shoulderhead with very
pale bisque, oval facial shape, elongated
throat, blonde sculpted hair piled into
elaborate rolls that extend across the
forehead and down the back of head, held by
blue painted headband, painted blue eyes,
red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke
brows, closed mouth with center accent line,
pierced ears, handmade leather body with
simple stitch-jointing, peach silk gown with
lacing and applique. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870.
Value Points: elaborate coiffure, regal pose,
excellent quality of bisque.
