American Wooden Glass-Eyed Seal with Champagne Bottle by Schoenhut

9" (23 cm.) Wooden seal with jointing at neck, arms, and tail, and with carved open mouth, painted teeth, glass eyes, leather ears, leather flipper. The seal was designed to be able to pose balancing a wooden champagne bottle on his head. The bottle has original paper label "Humpty Dumpty Extra Dry". Excellent condition except one flipper missing. Schoenhut, circa 1910, rare to find bottle.
