17" (43 cm). Paper mache socket head, blue
glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes,
feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye
corners, open mouth, four teeth, white mohair
wig, five piece paper mache body. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: circa 1890,
the Polichinelle figure was a popular feature in
Etrennes catalogs of that era. Value Points:
wonderfully preserved original condition, the
doll has original facial finish, mohair white
wig, silk costume with classic Polichinelle
chest and back humps, gold trim, tricorn hat.
