Description
Pressed/carved wooden socket head, carved
hair in bobbed fashion with side part and
painted blue hair bow, rounded-shaped brown
eyes with large white eye dots, feathered
brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils,
closed mouth with row of teeth between the
smiling lips, all-wooden spring-jointed body
with holes in feet for positioning, well
costumed. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Pat. Jan.17th,1911
USA (label). Comments: Schoenhut, model
101, circa 1915. Value Points: well preserved
original finish on the carved hair smiling girl,
the doll has her own miniature carved wooden
circus poodle.
