Description
16" (40 cm). Pressed/carved wooden socket
head, narrow carved intaglio eyes, white
eyedots, feathered lashes, accented nostrils
and eye corners, closed mouth with pouty
expression, blonde mohair wig, all wooden
spring-jointed body, blue cotton suit.
Condition: generally excellent, wig not original.
Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Pat. Jan.17th 1911
USA (label). Comments: Schoenhut, circa
1915. Value Points: very expressive features
enhanced by fine original finish, the doll
carries along a small Schoenhut elephant.
