Description
12" (30 cm). All-wooden carved doll in
flat-dimension with slight shaping to edges,
has one piece head and torso, pin-jointing at
shoulders and hips, dowel-jointed feet. The
nose and mouth are naively shaped, inset
amber glass eyes. Condition: generally
excellent, one eye partially missing.
Comments: American, circa 1875. Value
Points: appealing folk art doll with thoughtful
construction.
