20" (51 cm). Pressed bisque socket head,
large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark
eyeliner encirles the eyecut, painted dark
lashes, rose blushed eyeshadow,
brushstroked and multi-feathered brows,
accented eye corners and shaded nostrils,
closed mouth with richly painted accented
lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over
cork pate, French composition and wooden
fully jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Depose E. 8 J. (head)
Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body).
Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value
Points: lovely idealized child with compelling
eyes, artistic painting, wears antique dress
(possibly original), undergarments, and
