Description
8" (21 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep
eyes, painted brown curly lashes, feathered
brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with
smiling expression, two painted teeth between the
glaze-highlighted lips, blonde mohair wig,
composition bent limb baby body, original muslin
gown and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: SFBJ 236 Paris 0. Comments: SFBJ, circa
1912. Value Points: beautiful modeling and bisque
on the character baby, preserved unplayed with in
its original elaborate presentation box with
lithographed and paper lace design on exterior,
the interior fitted with a variety of costumes
and accessories and trimmed with lace and blue
silk ribbons.
